He provides innovative architectural services for a number of Public School District customers, as well as directs all levels of marketing and business development for the corporation. He is responsible for the first and second "Net Zero Energy/Net Zero Carbon Emissions" public school buildings in California, and has since made Net Zero Energy design common place on Aedis projects. Prior to his BD role, John directed team building and resource management activities at Aedis. Meanwhile, John still drives a major percentage of company revenue. John's clients can count on his broad understanding of all aspects of their operations--from community engagement, stakeholder interests, and site operations and management--to ensure their designs maximize the value of their investment. He works to make older buildings clean and efficient promoting inhabitant's health and better performance. The ROI in these terms is vastly greater than just the money saved on an energy bill. In 2018, John and his team focused their attention on deepening Aedis's educational planning expertise, connecting curriculum and culture to facilities design, and to do so in an entirely collaborative and engaging way. Aedis's approach to design is very much the same as a 21st century teacher's approach to learning: we are all on a journey of discovery together.
