John DiLiegro is Chief of Staff for the Vice President of Customer and Operations Support Centers and the Associate Director of the Performance Assurance team at Verizon. In this capacity, John provides governance and support resources to several Director teams in driving an extensive variety of multiple active projects related to wireline field and center operations in technology, process, systems, products, and tool optimization. John also leads Performance Assurance relative to program management and reinforcing a culture of teamwork. His focus is on planning and executing team meetings, developing effective communications, employee recognition, advocating volunteerism, and team alignment on business objectives. John’s 27 years with Verizon includes deep field leadership experience gained from various prior positions of increasing responsibility. Previous roles have included managing FiOS and Core Installation and Maintenance teams at the Local and Area levels, managing Line crews, Special Services, and Dispatch and Force-to-Load Management in the Operations Control Center (OCC).Outside of work, John is a proud and dedicated husband and father of a son and daughter, and his family resides in Monmouth County, N.J. In his spare time, John also coaches youth hockey and lacrosse, and has completed several marathons in N.Y., N.J., and New England to raise money for charitable causes such as Goodwill, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, American Red Cross, and St. Jude Children’s Hospital. John earned a BS in Business from Emmanuel College in Boston and holds an MBA from Monmouth University. He originally hails from the Boston area and is a lifelong fan of the Bruins, Celtics, Patriots, and Red Sox.
