My primary role is oversee and control the work flow through the workshop, I am responsible for a team of 8 technicians, 2 body shop technicians, 3 service advisers, 1 parts supervisor & 2 valet drivers, I oversee all the roles to ensure the workshop functions efficiently, my role also involves speaking directly with suppliers & customers to ensure that the business can provide the best service to our customers. I am very enthusiastic & self driven in my role, but at the same time I am always willing to listen & try new ideas that can help the company achieve overall customer satisfaction & success. I also participate in weekly management meetings where previous weekly achievements & forecasts for the following week are discussed. Our team has always worked well and achieved targets week on week, which in itself demonstrates my personal strive for achievement.

My roll has a team leader was as an hands on technician overseeing a team of four technicians, my role involved delegating work, overseeing parts spend & liaising directly with the service manager. I then volunteered to run 2 teams working on 2 shift patterns, I successfully managed both teams and achieved all the targets that was expected from both teams, and was congratulated on more than 1 occasion by both my service manager & the general manager. This more than demonstrates my determination to succeed.

Carry out final quality checks on motor vehicles prior to dispatch to showroom, this involved mechanical and visual inspections including bodywork & a final roadtest.
