Full P&L responsibility for a Multi-channel Department Store including Fashion, Household, Accessories, Health & Beauty business and a Restaurant operation.Responsibility for a team of circa 200 including Inhouse, Concession, Cosmetic, Security, Operational and Catering Staff. Managing hours, costs and expenses within budget. Drive sales and maximise all commercial opportunities utilising product portfolio, sales team’s expertise and company promotional calendar.Commercially analyse and review sales/density reports to ensure maximum profitability of Store.Negotiate space allocation and agree terms for additional short/long term Concession and Health & Beauty opportunities.Flex Store space as required to drive density in line with Company goals.Work with Southend BID (Government sponsored National initiative “Business Improvement District”) to improve business environment in area & serving on its operational BID Board.Responsible for Store Operations to include – administration, banking, security, logistics, stock movement/management, heath and Safety, account card promotion and all facilities management.Responsible for HR functions - planning, recruitment, training, appraising and behavioural standards of the store team.Responsible for delivery of Store KPI Metrics including Sales, Service, Loyalty, Stock loss, Internal Audit.Responsible for planning and implementation of seasonal space moves and shopfitting.Diving inhouse Visual Merchandising, Marketing/POS, Housekeeping and Stock availability standards.Work closely with shopping centre management and local businesses for community cohesion, charity participation and collaborative support.
