Test validation engineer:• Developing custom built ATE solutions in accordance with design and customer specifications for module testing incorporating instrument, module, climatic control and data logging.• Ensuring the repeatability and reliability of all test systems including robustness for life endurance testers, fail safe operation and performance monitoring.• Providing detailed test reports for all ATE and bench tests performed throughout the project validation stages.• Electronic circuit development and construction for test interfacing.Failure analysis engineer• Full analysis capabilities from electrical, optical, chemical, radiography, SEM, EDX, cross section wetting balance analysis.• Analyzing and verifying new components and processes to prove suitability for manufacture.• Developing bench test solutions to replicate ATE and application performance tests for diagnosing field returned modules to component level.• Providing detailed reports on all customer returns and submitted samples including recommendations for process and test changes or containment action requirements. • Technical representative for customer test concerns including international travel to train customers on product application testing.

• Supporting a Wide range of production test kit including ATE, functional, ICT and dynamic laser trimming systems, to ensure reliability.• Developing diagnostic equipment and procedures to improve machine reliability and reduce machine down time.• Calibration and repair of test interface cards

· Developing flying probe test packages to perform in-circuit component testing for newproducts in development.· Functional testing of new products as part of a design verification procedure.· Designing and building prototype and completed test equipment and P.C.B'S to be used byrepair technicians and production personnel.· Creating and controlling current project documentation including developingcomprehensive test procedures for production personnel.· Communicating clearly and effectively with members of other departments, suppliers andCustomers.

Responsibilities:· Fault finding and repair to component level of both analogue and digital circuits,using various test equipment in order to diagnose specific faults.· Setting up manual test equipment for operator use.· Reporting on failure analysis data to determine root cause problems.· Providing technical support to the operational requirements of the developmentdepartment, with regards to SMD and BGA assembly, repair and modifications.
