As a fully qualified mechanic with forty years plus experience and over thirty years of this working offshore worldwide in the oil and gas industry and along with good equipment fault recognition skills, computer literacy and vast experience in surveying equipment, also carrying out on the job training and assessment, I feel that I have the qualities required to be successful within your company.Due to having nearly twenty years’ experience as either rig engineer or senior rig mechanic using a variety of computerized maintenance systems such as Maximo, RMS etc. During the last twelve years being employed mostly as a consultant senior mechanical surveyor through ModuSpec Engineering / Lloyds Register carrying out detailed rig inspections including electrical inspections on all equipment. With recent employment as offshore maintenance supervisor and senior commissioning technician in charge of sixteen technicians, good general observation and a well-respected, proven team player, where the safety needs of the individual and also the installation are always paramount, I feel that I would be an asset.
