The experiences gained from my work within the accounting industry include: completing accounts working papers using both manual excel working papers and the online product Silverfin, including bank reconciliations, debtors and creditors schedules, VAT reconciliations, wages and PAYE reconciliations and fixed asset registers completing small company accounts under FRS102s1A and presenting directly to partner and clients leading client meetings and explaining their financial position being responsible for client bank accounts producing partnership and sole trader accounts in a timely and accurate manner producing Self Assessment Tax Returns including information such as salary, benefits in kind, dividends and rental income responsible for the completion of client quarterly VAT returns and bookkeeping using a variety of bookkeeping software such as Sage Line 50, Sage Business Accounting, Kashflow and Xero communicating with clients via telephone and email to request information and documentation to compete annual accounts maintaining up to date accountancy knowledge by undertaking additional training courses using accounting software such as IRIS and CCH to produce accounts, personal tax computations and form P11D to disclose clients’ benefits in kind to H M Revenue and Customs
