Pleased to say I have now hung up my boots as I start a new career in retirement.John commenced work at Sedgwick, London in 1979 concentrating on US Casualty and Property business. Whilst he was there, he also represented Sedgwicks at football with league championship and cup winning success.He then joined Manning Beard in 1983 working on Professional Indemnity business including facilities. Whilst working at Manning Beard, he became an Underwriting Name at Lloyd's of London in 1984.Following this, he moved to Willis in 1985, working in their Professional Indemnity division. He became an Executive Director and ran a high value team, specializing in Professional Indemnity placements for Insurance Brokers, Architects and Engineers, and US Lawyers. In 1995, John got the opportunity to move to Johnson & Higgins which shortly thereafter was acquired by Marsh. He is currently working at Marsh where he is the Team Leader for Architects and Engineers, Professional Indemnity - concentrating on major accounts, management and broking. Additionally, new business and product development.John has been involved with articles published in respect of Professional Indemnity insurance for Architects and Engineers in Engineering News.John is a Chelsea Football Club season ticket holder and enjoys following their multiple trophy successes!
