Lead the creation of, and manage the IT Control team.The IT Control team is responsible for:- The creation and maintenance of all IT Controls which are based off the COBIT and NIST Frameworks, inclusive of General IT Controls- Coordination of all internal and external IT departmental audits- Coordination of self-monitoring of all IT controls on a quarterly basis - Tracking and coordination of closure for all audit findings- Tracking and coordination of process deficiency mitigation activities which are identified outside of the auditing process- Application classification, which drives to scoping of IT controls

Continuously manage, monitor, & report on the risk control framework detailed in the Information Security Plan, specifically NIST & COBIT control frameworks.Act as the primary resource for both Internal & External Audits, gathering & presenting detailed operational evidence, while driving recommended audit action items through execution and closure.Liaise with IT-Security, Local Information Security Officer, and 2nd Line of Defense on key issues and projects.Executes risk assessments and analyzes the data, presents the results and conclusions to management. Researches deviations and advises about risk mitigating actions. Organizes and controls follow-up of assessments.Responsible for management reporting for any needed security improvements and advises on the development and implementation of changes in standards and procedures.Reviews and revises Information Security procedures and makes recommendations for their implementation.Works cross-functionally within the IT Governance team as relating to Access Management, Business Continuity, Change Management, Incident Management, and Third Party Risk Management.

Provide evidence of the effectiveness of IT controls in order to establish the maturity level and identify gaps between practice and policyReview the implementation of IT governance baselines.Direct the evolution of established controls to continually improve IT service maturityCompile monthly reports on the effectiveness of IT servicesReview the IT policies and practices, propose enhancements in policy and resolve any gaps in practiceInvestigate and report on all IT governance breachesResponsible for the proper definition and implementation of governance policies and processes within IT operations and projectsWorks with IT line managers at all levels to ensure they are fulfilling their specific governance responsibilities and service level agreementsCollaborate with IT management to continually evolve IT governance to ensure the environment is stable, secure and resilientMaintain and validate IT governance policies against IT practicesManage the access review process within IT to ensure IT owners of assets complete reviews based on the agreed upon timetablesProvide back-up for Service Delivery Management, Incident Management & Change Management processes

• Assist with the handling of major incidents and identifying the root cause• Following Major Incidents; attend the post-mortem review meeting and ensure an Incident Report is completed and turned into management in a timely manner• Reporting and Incident analysis to identify trends of potential Problems • Create and manage Problem records, including prioritization of Problems, as well as monitor and track the progress of the problem• Maintain a Known Error Record in order to identify and resolve future similar problems• Hold regular meetings with IT support groups to review recurring Problems and press for final resolutions; produce 'Escalation Reports' on recurring issues and issues not being resolved.• Tracking compliance to the process, coordinating across all areas of the organization to drive Problem investigation and resolution• Ensure that the resolution is implemented through the appropriate control procedures, especially Change Management• Communicates status of existing problem records based on communication strategy identified in the problem model

• Perform proactive and reactive network/infrastructure monitoring and health checks to minimize service disruptions and impact to end users• Serve as primary initial responder in identifying issues, troubleshooting/correlating issues, assessing impact, and coordinating resolution• Engage resolution groups for troubleshooting; drive efficient resolution of issues• Document all activities in ticketing system • Develop and maintain documentation for efficient NOC operations (including maintaining inventory of sites, contacts, and infrastructure).• May provide assistance to end users, acting as backup to front-line technical support• Smoothly transfer information at the end of each shift with other NOC staff about any outstanding issues and tasks• Development of knowledge and skills in network and system administration• Perform other duties as assigned to support the continued success of technology services
