John Dolceamore is Co-owner & Vice President of SolareAmerica.John has worn many hats over his career, amassing 30 years of experience owning and operating several businesses. John started his career at Drexel University studying civil engineering. Since his time at Drexel, John has owned and operated several successful businesses, from Landscape & Design, to Telecom Construction and currently, renewable energy. In 2010, John and his lifelong friend combined their skills and co-founded Solare America. Since its inception, SolareAmerica has designed, developed and built systems in excess of 16 Megawatts and is growing rapidly. The company enjoys a reputation in our industry for its many innovations it has successfully brought to market. Our company’s “can do” attitude has resulted in the company, inventing, developing and receiving three U.S. design patents for our SolarMax Canopy technology, the industry’s most efficient solar parking canopy. In 2012 the company built the nation’s first solar highway in Massachusetts which it still owns and operates with its partners. Utilizing John’s telecommunication contacts and experience, SolareAmerica diversified in 2015, by creating a Fiber and Telecom division. Under John’s leadership, SolareAmerica has played a key role in building out a large-scale infrastructure project for Comcast Inc., in the city of Philadelphia and surrounding region. Finally, in 2019, SolareAmerica was awarded the APsystems Project of the Year for integrating solar power for fuel stations in a safe and efficient manner. John prides himself on being a self-made entrepreneur, with an impeccable work ethic. He is not only a successful business owner but also a husband, father, coach, and board member for several non-profit organizations. John and his partners share an Augustinian Education that has taught them the value of doing well, by doing good. We strive every day to make this world a better place one day at a time.
