Drive business development activity that generates both “New to Bank” and “New to Product” opportunities.• Co-ordinate and deliver capability sessions to customers, bankers and key influencers (Brokers, Accountancy Firms etc) to strengthen Trade and Working Capital’s customer value proposition.• Work collaboratively with bankers in customer discussions to build deeper customer relationships.• Develop Trade & Working Capital product solutions which meet customer’s needs and are “best in market”.• Identify cross sell opportunities and referrals for other banking specialists to ensure customers have a complete bank offering.• Using financial data, present and deliver customer insights to help better understand their working capital needs.• Apply and present industry trends/insights to customers that highlight current and future impacts (to their business).• Design and implement complex product/funding solutions for large corporate agribusiness customers.• Provide input (and influence) into pricing discussions to ensure that the Bank is getting the appropriate risk/return on capital.• Work with bankers and other risk stakeholders throughout the credit process to develop funding solutions which both mitigate risk and deliver a great customer outcome.

• Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders during the credit process to ensure a balanced outcome is achieved for both the Customer and Bank.• Analyse financial information which identify credit risks and better understanding the customer’s concept.• Provide advice and input on deal structuring and risk mitigation strategies for Corporate Agribusiness clients. This includes presenting analysis around covenants, stress testing, working capital and risk grade assessment• Manage and identify emerging risks within the Corporate Agribusiness portfolio and proactively manage risk with Senior Managers and Regional Managers.• Review and provide joint DCA sign off on covenant reporting and Corporate Agribusiness credit submissions.• Mentor and coach analysts and other business partners to build capability within the Agribusiness and the broader NAB team.

 Perform Analysis on specific risk areas within the Banking portfolio and evaluate whether the Bank holds adequate levels of provisioning to cover for any anticipated losses. Identify opportunities which allow the Bank to expand within the parameters of the Bank's risk appetite and strategy.  Review and evaluate the performance of credit process, policy and risk models to ensure that all credit risks are being adequately captured and mitigated.  Identify opportunities within the Bank's risk systems and process which further mitigates credit risk and/or improves efficiency.

 Implement operational changes to business and reporting processes to gain greater efficiencies, address operational risk and accommodate system enhancements. Analysis of Corporate and Property Portfolio and proactively identify areas of emerging risk and opportunities. Compile Monthly Cashflow Forecasts and cascade to Non-Core National Managers and CFO. Provide detailed risk trend analysis for large exposures and heavily geared exposures to Chief Risk Officer and the Banking Risk Committee.
