Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all electrical and electronic equipment onboard offshore drilling facilities, to include A/C–DC motors and or generators, all interior and exterior lighting, All Cranes (1-BOP, 1-SBOP, , 4-double-knuckle boom, and 1 pedestal mounted general duty.), also refrigeration and HVAC units, A/C-D/C circuits and wiring. All interior and exterior communications: to include satellite, radios, televisions, telephones and computers, all electrical hand tools. VFD’s,and there related controls, line and load circuits. Motor control centers and there related distribution centers. All power distribution panels, sub-feed panels and there related circuits, 2-Top drives, 2-Rotary tables, 2-Iron roughnecks, Mud pumps, Pipe skate/cart systems for riser and pipe. Vessel Management System for dynamic positioning, ballast control, engine room monitoring and rig equipment for emergency operations, Air compressors, Galley and Laundry equipment. Cameras and monitors throughout vessel.

Duties include troubleshooting and repairing all production machinery, which operates on 480 VAC 3 phase.This includes many different sizes of DC motors; .5 to 150 HP, AC motors; .5 to 400 HP, large inverters, SCR's, AC variable freq. motor drives, large motors starters, contactors, relays, and many different Makes of PLC's. Also have experience in with mini sub stations with 12,400 VAC incoming. 2004-2007 Worked as Micro Electronic Technician: Duties include repairing circuit boards at the component level.
