Responsible for Finance, Accounting, Tax, IT, SCM and general Operations.

• Directly manage five Directors/Sr Managers with a direct team of 20+. Also manage 20+ Outsourced support.• Areas of direct management include: Financial and Planning Analysis, Complex Revenue Recognition, Consolidation Reporting, Shared Services Accounting, Income/Sales Tax,, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounting Project Management and local Treasury Functions.• Member of Executive Management Team and various committees, including Policy and Risk Mgmt.• Create, manage and coordinate ongoing policy and process creation, improvement, and documentation efforts• Develop and set KPI/KFM goals, implement, monitor and report to the CEO and CFO.• Prepares/reviews financials, reports, contracts, reconciliations, flux analysis, project plans•Lead in dealing with external and internal auditors for financial review and SOX Compliance Involved with preparing audit report, footnotes, schedules and other PBCs•Responsible for Budget and Forecast formulation and continuous planning support•Well versed in various revenue recognition areas involving complex software, services, and integration components. (recently implemented IFRS15/ASC 606 Revenue Standard). Also extensive experience in Real Estate and recently implemented new IFRS16/ASC 842 Lease Standard. •Provide ongoing guidance and research on accounting positions related to new business offerings, contracts/agreements and maintain ongoing compliance with the latest accounting standards•Responsible for coordinating North American efforts to streamline/comply with Global Process Standardization efforts and manage IFRS adjustments and schedules•Lead for cross-functional support with Business and Operations (supporting new transactions, services and business initiatives) •ERP (SAP) and Other Software System Implementation Finance Lead and Champion

• Managed three staff accountants within the development, property management and sales accounting departments.• Responsible for accounting functions for three residential and three commercial joint ventures.• Performed the consolidation, elimination and subsequent reporting for four companies. • Responsible for monthly consolidations in the Commercial Division (four companies). Includes accounting for acquisition, development, property management and sales of commercial property, residential property and easements.• Responsible for local A/R, A/P, Capital Projects (AFE) and Job Costing (Cost Accounting).• Other responsibilities include monthly reporting, reviewing and journalizing property sales entries and acquisitions, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, updating/creating standard cost models and preparing/reviewing various reconciliations.
