In addition to site negotiation and acquisition, responsibilities in Faison’s retail development program included securing anchor tenant commitments, overseeing the entitlement process, zoning, site planning, permitting, and determining the general direction of the company’s regional development efforts.

Responsible for directing all real estate development activities for corporate expansion including overseeing the site acquisition and entitlement process, design, financing and development of new company owned stores. Spearheaded a complete redesign of the company’s prototype store and charted growth plans that ultimately led to the company being acquired by the Hess Corporation. Managed leases for 45 locations. Successfully implemented a 27-property regional real estate auction to dispose of the company’s excess real estate. Structured build-to-suit and sale-leaseback financing for new and existing locations. Aided in corporate debt restructuring. Oversaw the company’s property management and environmental compliance departments. Successfully closed over 45 excess property transactions.
