Member of the start-up team developing the 'ASOC' silicon photonics manufacturing process- Experience in key semiconductor processes including photolithography, wet and dry etch (RIE/ICP), PECVD, ion implantation, metallization, epitaxial growth- Implemented yield improvement exercises and SPC- Knowledge of advanced metrology and analytical techniques such as SEM, TEM, AFM, XPS, SIMS- Developed v-groove process for passive fibre alignment of optical transceiver chip- Process integration to support hybridization of active components (laser diodes, photodiodes)- Developed novel 3D waveguide taper process to reduce fibre coupling loss using selective epitaxial silicon growth and etch backOther Experience- Sourcing and validation of high value process equipment internationally - Growth experience, Start up to >1000 employees
