Served as command scheduling officer responsible for training conducted to prospective SEALS.Coordinated all mission critical support for over 2000 high-risk evolutions within the SEAL training pipeline providing seamless training and education to over 3000 students.Reviewed and processed over 600 personnel evaluations while tracking over 3000 student records and processing over $35,000 of supplies with zero clerical errors.Established and implemented an improved class scheduling format reducing review and approval process time by 40%.

Guided Missile Frigate deployed in support of the Global War on Terrorism.; Supervised 55 personnel within Operations Department by clearly and effectively communicating daily assignments. Served as 1 of 2 Tactical Action Officers and as a senior combat systems training team member. Demonstrated extensive tactical knowledge of air, surface, and undersea warfare tactics during 23 basic phase training events, resulting in early certification in 85% of required warfare certifications. Placed special emphasis on training teams to institutionalize training improving their capability to sustain combat readiness.As departmental work center supervisor, directed 35 Navy technicians in the accomplishment of over 1500 equipment material checks on over $1.5 million of state-of-the-art equipment resulting in 100% completion of maintenance with near zero malfunctions.

Utilized and provided commands to multiple ships weapons systems in support of assigned missions and military operations.Using the AEGIS system, collected and disseminated critical information in Surface Warfare to other fleet components maintaining continuous liaison and ensuring timely flow of supporting information while avoiding mutual interference.Coordinated and directed the use of surface weapons capabilities, such as Close in Weapon System (CIWS) and 5”/54 Gunnery systems, to defend the ship. While this position is normally reserved for Chief Petty Officers and Officers, qualified as a First Class Petty Officer serving as a testament to the Navy’s trust of my abilities in operating multi-million dollar weapons systems.

Fleet Training Command supporting Pacific Fleet Warfare Training; Trained and facilitated 450 students through a 13 week course encompassing equipment familiarization, SH-60B tactics, multi-warfare tactics and safety of flight considerations. This resulted in highly qualified and successful Sailors being provided to the Fleet in support of multiple military operations.Developed a new course of instruction, (Sea Combat Air Controller (SCAC), from conception to implementation providing valuable training in support of the increasing need for Air Controllers throughout all military services.Wrote learning objectives, prepared test items, evaluated instructional materials and results of instruction, and counseled students while applying motivational techniques to encourage academic learning for 3 courses of instruction.
