I was responsible for the listed entity and main management company as well as several operating companies within the group. This involved all aspects of monthly accounting and liaising with all relevant departments i.e. Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax & Treasury, Legal, and Internal Audit;• Preparation of variance analysis, this involved detailed analysis of variances between actual and budgeted performance in order to produce meaning information to business decision makers as well as assisting in forecasting the business projections for the remaining portion of the financial year.2. Project Accountant (June 2010 – December 2013)Numerous, varied project roles undertaken. • Daily valuation and reporting to the junior portfolio manager for valuation approval, this procedure required liaison with the firms other internal departments (pricing, cash management, portfolio maintenance);• Liaising with external fund administrator to resolve reconciliation issues and daily sign off of funds;• General maintenance of reporting controls and improvement of reporting procedures.

• The role involved the preparation of 35 of the head office and group companies statutory financial statements and audit files for audit teams (UK GAAP);• Liaising with various departments to obtain financial information (treasury, tax, company secretarial);• Setting up timing schedules in order to manage the role and liaising with auditors regarding queries.

• Performing weekly and monthly fund administration services (preparation of weekly and monthly NAV’s, accounting for shareholder transactions and liaising with clients) of fund of fund hedge funds and single strategy funds;• Compilation of financial statements for compliance requirements i.e.: listing requirements;• Development activities including improving reporting techniques and internal control procedures and record keeping.
