One of four coaches, across 10,000 global employees, my mission was to identify the biggest challenges Atlassian teams globally were facing when working together, and to solve, coach and scale solutions to those challenges.✔️Built and proved a funnel to uncover company-wide teamwork challenges, prioritised against highest business impact. Then, designed, tested, facilitated and scaled new practices and solutions. This improved those areas, using a 2-level support system which included training material, templates, self-serve guidance and coaching intervention for teams and leaders to make teams more effective and efficient. Key areas improved included Shared Understanding, Leadership, Re-orgs and Connection✔️Identified, designed, built, ran solutions to move newer teams into high-performing teams, sooner. The interventions I ran, and the templates and self-serve guidance used by hundreds of teams, all saw improvements in key measures of team understanding, cohesion, confidence across layers✔️Researched, designed, developed and scaled guidance for teams on how to stay connected, work effectively and efficiently, while working distributed from different locations and timezones. This was highly valued by teams, with thousands of people utilising the content and an internal NPS score of 88

My charge was to setup a model across multiple products, programs and geographies to improve the visibility, communication and collaboration within the Research team. ✔️Designed, implemented and coached the research team in a new discovery/delivery model (including Scrum, Kanban, LeSS, OKRs) that enabled sustainable, collaborative planning and prioritisation, alignment and visibility across all layers. This meant researchers could spend more time researching and leaders were able to both plan, and react better as needed.✔️Identified and drove key measures of team success with more structured, more holistic planning, simpler but more effective reporting, increased focus on team connection, sharing and learning. This increased measures of collaboration, communication, burn-out, engagement, visibility and culture.✔️Setup and ran the delivery of a pilot for a company-wide "Team Insights Pulse", to regularly gauge how healthy and effective teams are. This included building out dashboards, self-serve material and coaching interventions to help managers and teams continuously improve. This is now used by the whole company, fortnightly, and is a key measure of team health and manager performance.

I was tasked with helping Deputy create the right structures to enable the doubling of the company size (year-on-year) while improving efficiencies and quality.✔️Design and implementation of a new and continual portfolio prioritisation and planning process. This brought improvements to team health metrics, visibility across teams and increased the confidence and reaction time for the executive team✔️Setup and managed delivery for multiple new programs and mutli-disciplinary squads, implementing new ways of working including: 🔹A dual-track research and development approach and an improved focus on quality resulting in decreased cycle time, increased squad happiness and increased NPS 🔹A focus on data-insights, running continuous lean experiments to increase conversion by 2% while continually improving efficiencies 🔹Delivering performance improvements on key functionality of up to 84%
