    Founded Atomising Systems Ltd in 1992. Continued to supply special atomiising equpment for metal powder production to 30 countries around the world. Developed ultrasonic atomisation of solders, centrifugal atomisation of solders and other alloys, pressure swirl atomisation, some of these working with Prof S M Sheikhaliev in Siberia. Since 2001 began production of special powders and in 2008 sales of powders hit over $3M. In 2011 relocated busines to 3300sq.m factory and powder sales hit $10M in 2012. In 2011 awarded PhD by Cambridge University for publications on atomisation from 1978-2008. In Sept 2013 awarded "Distinguished Service Award" by EPMA.in July 2016 awarded Jenkins Medal of the IoM3 for services to Powder Metallurgy.

    From college (Cambridge) joined R&D group at Davy-Ashmore. Worked on continuous casting and then on spray forming. In 1972 took over metal powder atomising work. In 1974 sold first stainless steel powder plant to Bulgaria. By 1981 had sold a dozen or so atomisers for steels, copper, gold, silver etc. Moved to Davy McKee Sheffield site and by 1992 had developed and sold 100 atomising plants.
