Employed in the Procurement Dept. as part of a team of eight to facilitate procurement across all categories (IT, Facilities, Legal & Professional Services etc.)Duties:• Preparation and release of tender documentation as per Procurement Policy and subsequent evaluation of vendor responses determining which represents the most economically advantageous offer.• Establishment of framework agreements and panels for high volume procurement requirements.• Put in place Contracts, SOWs, SLAs, LOEs and Confidentiality Agreements.• Use of eTenders and OJEU for tendering purposes where applicable. • Identify cost saving and vendor consolidation opportunities as part of merger with Irish Nationwide in conjunction with review of vendor contracts. • Review current business requirements with internal clients for cost savings.

Employed as a procurement specialist across the four main categories of IT, Infrastructure, Marketing/Print and Professional Services to achieve savings through RFPs and eAuctions.

Reporting into the EMEA team in London, my role was to support the Irish operation and incorporate it into regional deals where appropriate.
