It ensured that the building was smoothly and officially handed over to our landlords and further more enabled a 3rd party to perform contracted dilapidation works prior to handover. The exit and relocation work was completed within very aggressive timescales, in-spite of a number of over-running client exits and network circuit order delays. It was accomplished without any major incidents or P1s occurring due to the Southbank Exit activity, which is in itself was a remarkable achievement bearing in mind the DC's 35 year age span. In detail, ensuring the following:• All 12 external and 21 internal client services transitioned• In terms of hardware, 4,208 devices, 512 racks and 48 network circuits were removed• Network links replaced to maintain integrity of resilient network services• Global Tools (GIO and SIO) transitioned• Utility Back-up transitioned• All rooms, corridors and units were cleared of cleared of all network cabling infrastructure• Comms Room was set-up to maintain ITICS services to main building• All internal services hardware and cabinets removed from site• All Telco equipment removed from site• Disposal and recycling of all IT hardware from site including magnetic tape media/hard drives• Cold corridor pod removed to Bristol• All cabinets fully decommissioned from the floor and removed from site• 5 month Dilapidation preparation work completed prior to landlord handover -
