For example, in Gabon, the work has helped to develop a timber legality system that has helped to reduce illegal logging. In China, the work has helped to promote sustainable palm oil production, which has helped to protect forests and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.- Responsible for palm oil programme funded by HSBC for WWF with work in China, Indonesia, India, Malaysia and Indonesia. This work has helped to promote sustainable palm oil production and consumption. For example, the work has helped to develop a certification scheme for sustainable palm oil, which has helped to increase demand for sustainable palm oil.
