The WWF UK Drivers Initiative aims to address governance, legality and systems (food & financial) in key producer and consumer countries to address the triple challenge in priority and critical scapes and optimise the probability for sustainable development in the respective countries and beyond.We are at a critical juncture for the planet in setting a course to have halted and started to reverse the loss of habitats and species, and improve human wellbeing, in some of the most biodiverse places globally by 2030. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the vulnerabilities facing humanity due to our worsening relationship with nature, and further thrown into sharp relief the inequalities, among and within nations, that we must overcome to realise the SDGs and to assure a just and sustainable future.

- Leading programmes on environmental crime, drivers of deforestation and sustainable supply chains. Working in Asia, West Congo Basin and the Pacific. This work has helped to reduce environmental crime, protect forests and wildlife, and promote sustainable supply chains. For example, in the West Congo Basin, the work has helped to reduce illegal logging and poaching, and to protect endangered species such as gorillas and elephants. In Asia, the work has helped to promote sustainable palm oil production, which has helped to protect forests and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.- Leading work on AML, crime convergence and engagement with CITES and IMO. This work has helped to combat money laundering, organized crime, and other forms of financial crime. For example, the work has helped to identify and disrupt criminal networks that are involved in environmental crime, such as illegal logging and wildlife trafficking. The work has also helped to strengthen the capacity of law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute financial crimes.- Responsible for overseeing FGMC programme of work for WWF with work in Gabon, China, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea focusing on timber legality and sustainable palm oil. This work has helped to improve the legality and sustainability of timber and palm oil production. For example, in Gabon, the work has helped to develop a timber legality system that has helped to reduce illegal logging. In China, the work has helped to promote sustainable palm oil production, which has helped to protect forests and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.- Responsible for palm oil programme funded by HSBC for WWF with work in China, Indonesia, India, Malaysia and Indonesia. This work has helped to promote sustainable palm oil production and consumption. For example, the work has helped to develop a certification scheme for sustainable palm oil, which has helped to increase demand for sustainable palm oil.

I have worked on projects with the World Bank, the United Nations, and the UK government, and I have led a multi-year DFID investment and trade programme in China with work in Southeast Asia and the Congo Basin.Working on programmes with the World Bank, UN, and UK government.
