I love collaborating to build strategies, systems, and culture. I believe in the power of cross pollinating ideas.A big part of my life journey, and outlet where I have shared this passion, has been with the YMCA. I began that journey through volunteering with swim lessons at my local YMCA as a teenager. It's a longer story than a few paragraphs might be able to hold, but the short snapshot is that I could have easily been labeled a bad child and not been provided any opportunities. Instead, the Aquatics Director viewed me through a lens of positive potential.The confidence that I gained through both experiences was a turning point in my life. I developed a deeply rooted sense of service. I continued to grow in the YMCA by becoming a CIT, Camp Counselor, Lifeguard, Swim Instructor, Swim Team Coach, Membership Assistant, and then through pursuing education through a YMCA Professional Studies concentration at Springfield College. Rooted in those experiences, I continue to live out a desire to take intentional action to serve and impact communities through partnering with others. Although being passionate about the work I do drives me-I strive to maintain a balanced lifestyle in spirit, mind, and body. With over two decades of curating transformational moments, I have come to embrace my creative leadership style that provokes radical wonder.
