About John E. Richardson

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE:My Career objective is to utilize my skills and experience as a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician or Maintenance Supervisor. I have worked with Ensco Drilling for 15-years (5-years as a Maintenance Supervisor and 10-years as a Chief Electrician) on over 16-Jackup Drilling Rigs around the world. I have worked with onshore Engineers on the engineering, design, installation, and commissioning of additional Rig equipment and upgrades in various shipyards. I have extensive knowledge with daily Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance as their Maintenance Supervisor. I have trained several Barge Engineers and numerous Assistant Electricians with On-the-Job Training and the Computer skills that were needed for each position. I like working with Robotics and Automation and have always showed great skill in the troubleshooting and repair of higher tech equipment even if I have never worked on the equipment before. I have an attention to detail, I avoid shortcuts, and I have a strong personal Safety culture. My background experience is as follows: Electronic Tech, PLC’s, Robotics, Automations, Blueprints/Schematics reading, Hydraulics, Mechanical, Machinist, and Welding background with the Engineering mindset to follow. The Regional Contract was outbid and ended with C&W Services, so I must find other employment. I am looking for a permanent Full-Time, preferably day shift position.
