My project delivery responsibilities included staffing projects with a combination of employees and contractors, managing contract profitably and achieving client satisfaction of all services performed. Related to my ongoing IBM Certified IT Specialist duties, I also created high level designs and participated in various project implementations. A few of my projects are described below:- Managed SAP R3 infrastructure solution design, configuration and migration of a legacy environment to 170+ IBM AIX servers, 100+ Windows servers, and 4 IBM zSeries systems. The project duration was 18 months and staffed with 20+ resources. I included several assessments and technical reviews during the project utilizing various Center of Competency teams to validate and improve the design/implementation. The cutover completed on schedule.- Designed and coded automation scripts to configure two-node HA clusters with the client’s application pre-installed at the manufacturing plant in custom built racks and then shipped to 60+ locations across the country. This design approach resulted in the systems being ready for production cutover only one day after physical installation.- Provided data center migration services to relocate 300+ data center devices to another data center. Application transaction flow and connectivity assessments were documented to establish a migration plan per application and mitigate identified risks.- Developed and implemented hundreds of small services contracts providing Unix implementation and migration services in support of various customer applications.- Prepared content and taught AIX Performance Management class to customers.Took an IBM international assignment job role with EMEA services responsibilities based in London, UK from 1998-2000.Recognized with IBM Leadership Award (2003).
