After 18 years of working for small and large STM publishers, made transition to senior leadership role in Content Services operation. Successfully managed organization through period of great change in transition from US to global production platform. Used extensive publishing background and expertise to expand the capabilities and workflow options for managing editorial workflows in a global environment. Worked closely with publishers and societies to implement new publishing initiatives and workflows. Managed P&L and budgeting responsibilities for production site.

Responsible for the management of a production site that produced over 50 journals and 36 book-like serial publications. Challenged with leading an acquisition effort to bring existing workflows and systems into line with parent company. Duties included: close contact with Publishing Editors to define needs and set clear objectives for society-owned publications; oversee internal operations and external vendor relations/performance; nurture business relations through contact with Editorial Offices and societies; implement company initiatives (e.g., for databasing, electronic data deliveries, typesetting, and general workflow); provide extensive troubleshooting and day-to-day decision making; prepare and monitor departmental budgets.
