As a Commercial Director, I contribute to the company executive by navigating complex market landscapes and aligning commercial objectives with the broader goals of the organization, driving measurable results in a dynamic business environment.

• Maintaining positive client relationships and developing new strategic partnerships.• Developing and implementing organizational goals, procedures, and policies.• Consulting and cooperating with other executives, board members, and employees.• Managing, monitoring, and reviewing business operations.• Identifying improvement gaps and implementing corrective measures.• Reviewing and supervising all financial activities, performance and documentation.• Overseeing hiring activities and approving contracts.

• Operational responsibility for 8 departments including, Housekeeping, Property, Brasserie, Bar, Room service, Property, Front Office & Events;• Forecasting, budgeting, and profit and Loss review;• Over viewing month end stocktakes, stock ordering and food and beverage controls to maintain cost of sales targets on food and beverage;• Assisting sales department with introduction of company and property specific sales promotions and initiatives;• Delivering guest brand standards across rooms division and food and beverage outlets for the Hotel;• All aspects of health and safety for the hotel, to include training, regional and hotel health and safety meetings, shield yourself audit preparation, accident reporting and dealing with all insurance claims at the hotel;• DM training and running of DM service across the Hotel;• Monitoring labour schedule and flexing payroll to budgetary targets;• Leading client meetings to discuss conferences and bespoke events;• Charity Liaison for Malmaison affiliated Charities;
