I have been working in the graphic arts industry for 25 years, specifically with printing ink and color application via the printing processes. I was fortunate enought to be the youngest General Manager of Thiele-Engdahl's site outside of Cleveland, OH in 1986. I worked with a great team who doubled the business in three short years, allowing us growth into the Cincinnati, OH region. We built a second site in Cincinnati, adding to my responsibility. We, Thiele-Engdahl, were sold to Imperical Chemical Incorporated in 1990, who sold us again in 1996 to Sun Chemical Corporation.One of my goals in the earlier years was to create a connection with the design and technical community of the consumer goods companies to share intelligence earlier in the process, making it better for everyone on the reproduction side of the value chain.I'm still working on achieving this goal today.
