I am a medical doctor passionate about climate action and innovating to mitigate the impacts of climate change on vulnerable health systems. My work is centered on raising awareness through education and advocacy, inspiring collective efforts to build resilience where it's most needed.My passion for climate education finds expression through the SavEarth Climate Action Foundation, an initiative I founded to empower people- especially Nigerian youth- to take climate action by helping them understand what climate change really is and the impacts it will have on life as we know it. Through creative campaigns and relatable storytelling, SavEarth consistently grows in its mission to inspire action and protect our environment.I also co-founded We Have a Dream, where I took my first steps toward building climate-resilient healthcare systems and innovating for universal healthcare access. To address some critical gaps I had observed in healthcare delivery where I interned, we launched a blood donor network (Lifesavers' BDN) to improve the sourcing of blood donors in emergencies. This project affirmed my commitment to finding solutions for underserved communities and fostering resilience in health systems.Beyond advocacy, I have always had a love for words. My writing odyssey began in junior secondary school and evolved into years of creative expression and professional blogging. Writing for SavEarth's Medium blog, In Plain Sight WordPress blog, and on many other platforms, as well as serving on numerous editorial committees, has garnered my work tens of thousands of reads while honing my ability to craft messages that resonate.Now venturing into research writing, I am exploring the nexus of climate change and healthcare access, contributing ideas and solutions that address global health challenges.When I'm not working, you might find me immersed in a good book, exploring the night sky, photographing nature through my phone lens, or simply enjoying a movie.
