I’m about People. I’ve dedicated my career to serving people.And I chose to help individuals, families, communities, and businesses with a career in Banking. Why Banking? Because wise financial decisions, banking guidance, short AND long-term perspective and real relationships are the keys to success.I’ve served the Chicagoland area for decades, at banks large and small. I’ve worked at big banks. I’ve managed regional banks. I’ve run and grown smaller banks. At each, I’m proud to have made a positive difference in the lives of many. That’s how I measure my success … how I’ve helped others succeed.“Experience” is a word often used lightly. Everyone touts experience, even with just a few years under their belts. Real Experience matters! In the truest sense of the word, I’m the most experienced person in the room. Any room. That’s a good thing! I’ve been through every economic cycle there is … and probably a few that haven’t been named yet. I know what’s been tried … what works … what didn’t … and what just might work this time, in today’s environment, for your specific needs.But … Experience by itself isn’t enough. It needs three more elements. 1. Wisdom. Did you learn from what you’ve tried? Can you apply what you’ve learned to other circumstances? Wisdom is hard won. 2. Creativity. Sure, sometimes financial & banking “basics” are enough. But knowing when to question … asking “What if we think about this differently?” or, “How about we try XXX?” is essential. Innovation married to Experience.3. The third area is where I began: People. It always comes back to people. Individuals, families, businesses. Experience only counts if your emotional antenna is set to “receive” and you actively look for ways to understand & help.In my zeal to help others, I believe I’ve uniquely developed each of these areas.Please take a moment and look over my Experience.
