Although I am now semi-retired, I have enjoyed an amazing and diverse career. I started out as a dentist, then continued my studies and obtained a Ph.D. in Higher Education before working as a teacher, researcher, and administrator at three dental schools. In the 80s I began working with computers and started or joined several software companies serving the health professions. I have been recognized as a leading entrepreneur in the SUNY system and in dental education. After retirement, I became an advocate for improved consumer protection legislation in Florida and also became a late, but fervent, convert to the cause of reducing global warming. There is still a significant 'charge' left in my batteries !!

The initial product brought to this partnership was AdMIT™, an intranet-based admissions platform used initially by dental schools then quickly spreading to many other health professions. This product was rewritten in the late 2000s to become WebAdMIT and now serves over 4000 health professions schools. Other products introduced by AMS included CoursEval™, GrAdMIT, and several other specialized health professions programs.

TASC developed two software products during its brief life cycle. The first was CATS (Curriculum Analysis Tools) and the second was AdMIT. At one point in the early 90s CATs was used by over 40 dental schools that had formed a consortium to design and promote this product. The absence of a long-term funding stream forced the demise of this product, although a number of schools continued to use it for many years. AdMIT was transitioned into Academic Management Systems (AMS) where it became highly valued.
