I am a regular British Army Officer specialising in Human Resource Management. I have recently both promoted to the rank of Major, and achieved a competitive contract extension to 2043. Currently, I am the Deputy Chief of Staff for a 5,000 personnel defence college. Previously, I have been employed as the principal staff and administration officer to the Commander of Chicksands Barracks for a year before promotion. Prior to this I was Head of Department of Administration and Finance at Battalion (450 personnel). As a young officer I have commanded on Operations at Detachment level in Afghanistan, and I have been a platoon commander in a training establishment.
