As Director of Operations, tasked with overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of Mind Works. As an experienced and efficient leader, the Dir of Ops is a key member of the Mind Works senior management team, reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) / President, to maintain control of diverse business operations. My goal, is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth for Mind Works in Texas.

Founder of iSEE Enterprise, LLC, based in Texas. Involved with ensuring cities and states preparedness efforts that improve capacity to build, sustain, and deliver core capabilities that are based on the National Preparedness Goal, threat and hazard identification/risk assessment processes, capability assessments, and real-world events. iSEE Enterprise assists communities in identifying capability targets and resource requirements necessary to address anticipated and unanticipated risks to build holistic solutions to consider physical and cyber risk mitigation together.

Joining AECOM in 2011, Mr. Esquivel supported executive management of strategic partnerships, alliances, and co-marking efforts. Engaged across AECOMs regional leads and industry partners for the purposes of integrating Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Campaign’s enterprise Risk Analysis Program, security and safety, shaping the model for CIP. Involved in summits and seminars, pertaining to our National Infrastructure allowed for market assessment; new business; market direction – trends, issues, contract vehicles, and aspirations, etc.; potential acquisitions; roadmap chart –opportunities/bids to position AECOM in the market.Client Account Manager for a Fortune 100 company responsible for developing a framework to work across three legs of AECOM as a Client, Client, and Joint Activities. Developed a Governance Operating Model by developing and finalizing processes, procedures, and reporting mechanisms that constituted a governance framework, which: Improved clarity by clearly defining roles & responsibilities; Improved coordination in order to addresses complexity inherent in governance of multiple businesses across global organizations; and Increased effectiveness of information flow.Design & Development: Lead planning teams responsible for exercise design, development, conduct, and evaluation. Using program priorities and guidance from elected and appointed officials, aided in determining exercise objectives and core capabilities to be assessed; creating a realistic scenario to assess them; and developing all supporting documentation, processes, and systems that were used in evaluation, control, and simulation.

Served as Mayor Julian Castro's appointee and Chairman to the Commission on Veterans Affairs that serves the City Council in an advisory capacity on issues affecting the City's military population, both active and retired. Additionally, serve as the community's liaison and advocate for veterans' affairs; advise the City Council on issues affecting San Antonio veterans and their families; and make recommendations for improving services. The Commission works with the Bexar County Veterans Service Office, as well as with other departments as needed and stays abreast of legislative items affecting veterans and their families.

Provide unique opportunities to continue learning about the issues and needs in Bexar County and support active volunteerism that positively impacts the community.

Mr. Esquivel served as Assistant Vice President for SAIC as Deputy for Cyber and Information Operations (IO); providing leadership and guidance, business growth, collaboration, client relations and program management for SAIC San Antonio Operations. He served not only as a subject matter expert for SAIC Enterprise, providing operational expertise to classified portfolios within the government through Communities of Practice and Centers of excellence but was also responsible for providing support to the executive leaders through the interpretation of business operations and creating courses of action for empowering employees to generate new business in a hyper-competitive environment. In his tenure, he was one of 20 selected for the first cohort of Strategic Advancement of Internal Leaders (SAIL) for next-generation leaders.
