Served as Quality Engineer for power generation equipment for military and commercial aircraft built in Mexico. Authorized shipments, resolved quality issues, and served as the liaison between aubcontractor and design engineers. Initiated processes that brought company into compliance with ISO 9000 standards. Wrote quality manual and all quality procedures; developed control plans and product reject reports for all products. Established quality goals for lot acceptance and PPMs. Set up SPC and process controls, and interfaced with customer QC representatives. Sucessfully reduced the in-process and customer rejects by more than 50%.
