I am a dedicated environmental professional and community advocate, currently serving as an Environmental Protection Specialist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). My work focuses on specialized communications for rule making development of Federal Regulations under Clean Air Act Section 111, 112, and 129, and environmental justice and outreach, where I collaborate with national offices and regions to communicate complex policies and scientific information to a broad range of stakeholders, from Tribal nations, communities faced with environmental justice concerns, to technical specialists. With a masters degree and career background in international development, I am passionate about creating equitable solutions for individuals and their communities through policy, education, and engagement.My overall experience spans from providing trauma-informed horticultural therapy at Rikers Jail Complex to leading community development projects as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia. I am skilled in policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, curriculum development, and intercultural communication.
