CurrentGeneral Manager of a Live Music/ Event Venue operating a full service restaurant and Beer Garden. Fully responsible for overseeing the entire business and facilitating events. Responsible for recruiting dynamic individuals to work specific assigned tasks within the venue space. Currently staffing over 25 employees in a given week. Oversee training, employee development and responsible for employee disciplining. I analyze profit and loss statements to ensure profitability of business with targeted 65% prime cost in mind. Facilitate payroll and accounts payable on a weekly basis. I am fully versed in microsoft computer applications such as Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint and publisher. Utilize quickbooks on a weekly basis. I handle weekly inventory and ordering with local alcohol, wine, beer and food vendors. Responsible for keeping good relationships with such vendors and cultivating new relationships with different food vendors offering better products. Provide excellent customer service to patrons phoning venue inquiring about reservations, events, and general information. Work with potential catering clients and negotiate events to ensure favorable terms are met for both business and client.
