Response Officer covering Wrexham, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Conwy, Rhyl, Abergele and Prestatyn which involved attending crime or civil incidents as first officer on scene, at times involving conflict and dealing with any offences inline with law.Community Beat Manager in Colwyn Bay, responsible for a team of Community Support Officers to deal with local neighbourhood disputes, crime trends and intelligence based crime. Specially Trained Officer on the Amethyst Team dealing with victims of serious sexual abuse toinclude interviewing vulnerable adults and children to see what offences we have, maintain contactwith victims, review third party material, support in Crown Court trials and to combat Child SexExploitation.Domestic Abuse Officer covering the Denbighshire and Conwy districts. Day to day duties is to review the Domestic type incidents over the last 24 hours to grade risk, utilising DASH, safeguard victims and relatives from further emotional or physical abuse. Referrals are then reviewed and shared with the relevant agencies, to include, Social Services, Schools, Health, Support Networks (Womens Aid etc) Wecomplete Joint Visits and implement working strategies to assist victims. My role includes linking in with response officers, providing advice on how to deal appropriately, assisting with restrainingand domestic violence protection orders through the court system. Attend Personal Community Meetings where High Risk victims are discussed, to see what action police can take. Attend MARAC (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference) where we discuss High Risk Victims with other agencies, to include IDVA, Social Services, Probation, Housing, Schools and Health Board.I have further knowledge and in house training in the following areas - Police Law Training (PACE), CSE Training, Diversity Training, Joint Interview Trained, Domestic Abuse, Stalking and Harassment training, Conflict Management and Mental Health and Substance/Alcohol Misuse Program.
