If you take all 4 of My Steps, you will drop any bad habit in 15-30 days.Now before I give you the instructions for my Step #1, I want to talk to you about how important it is to reduce stress in your life. All bad habits like over-eating, laziness, procrastination, workaholism, smoking, excessive alcohol and other mood-altering substances, sleep issues, over-spending, inappropriate sexual behaviors, all compulsions, etc. are because you suffer from stress. THE ONLY REASON PEOPLE DO ANY BAD HABIT IS TO PROVIDES THEMSELVES TEMPORARY RELIEF FROM THEIR STRESS. In other words, if people reduce their stress, they will reduce their need to seek relief from it. INSTRUCTIONS FOR MY STRESS REDUCING STEP #1: 1. Get a pen and paper and write down the top 10 goals you want in life. Do as instructed please.2. Prioritize them. Put your most important goal as number one, your second as number two, and so on….3. After completing your list, take your Top 3 goals and put them on a piece of paper. Place your Top 3 near your bed and read them before you go to sleep and when you wake up. I use a whiteboard above my bed. Some students use post it notes and place their Top 3 on their bathroom mirror, on their refrigerator door, in their car, etc. But you do need your Top 3 where you can see them before sleeping and after waking up.4. Now take your goals 4 thru 10 and throw them in the trash. And promise me that UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL YOU DO ANYTHING ABOUT ANY OF THEM. Please follow my instructions and write all 10 down first.That’s it!
