Continually liaise with DW CPLO to ensure that lifting and handling standards within COMPANY are consistently respected on site. Participate/assist the CPLO in the annual evaluation of and review of COMPANY approved 3rd Party Lifting Equipment certifiers list. Perform technical inspection and evaluation of cranes and selected lifting equipment proposed for use on site and project; maintain up to date register of certification of all cranes in use within Deep water perimeter. Assists CPLO in conducting periodic LMS audits of COMPANY assets and contractors working in the COMPANY perimeter. Assists CPLO in conducting periodic LMS audits of drilling services companies. Assists CPLO in conducting periodic LMS audits of contractors for AKPO and CLIENT. Specifying the testing/proof load requirements in accordance with statutory requirements, relevant standards and COMPANY rules on consultation with DW-CPLO. Review and approve lifting and hoisting plans in line with lifting standards and project procedure. Coach personnel involve in lifting operations onsite.

LIFTING EQUIPMENT INSPECTOR

• Liaise with company entities within in the District to carry out pre-mobilization inspections according to request and ensure that reports of pre-mobilization inspections held are communicated timely to the relevant entities in line with Company procedures.• Document and maintain records using Pre-mob TECHLOG Database of all inspections performed in line with affiliate documentation requirements.• Carry out monthly Pre-mob inspection trend analysis to provide feedback to Techlog Management and User departments on areas of improvement and recurrent issues requiring Management intervention. • Report any observed deviation to company’s procedure promptly related to inspection promptly• Participates in Job Safety Analysis, Hazard Identification Workshops (HAZID), HAZOP, Root cause analysis, Project kick –off meeting and other meetings as may be required from time to time.• Planning and verification of 3rd party inspection, testing and certification of various Lifting equipments, Material handling equipments, Earthmoving machineries in line with BS, ASME, API, ANSI Standards, LEEA and local and international regulations. • Assessment of operators of different lifting equipments. • Ensuring equipment designed to work in Zone II hazardous area meets all the basic requirementsAwareness of International Standards and regulation such as relevant BS, ASME, API,
