Responsible for all agricultural activities on the estate of 7000 has of irrigated sugarcane including land prep and haulage.

Responsibilities included the clearing, design and development of new sugarcane fields. Selection, procurement and installation of irrigation systems for these new areas. Design included the planning and implementation of drainage and bulk irrigation water supply from the Main pump station to site. I also ran the land preparation department responsible for all the agricultural mechanical operations as well as reviewing and improving the existing plantation lay-outs, drainage and irrigation infrastructure with a view to improving yields and efficiency.
