Responsible for developing and managing all aspect of the Hydrocarbons New Control Room Project EH&S program in accordance with Dow Chemical Global & LAO Site EH&S standards as well as overseeing project construction contractors EH&S performance to ensure the safe execution of construction activities.

Responsible for managing all aspects of the company safety program throughout multiple facilities assisting project management teams with the successful completion of over 250 projects varying in size, ranging from small scale maintenance projects to large scale turnaround, hurricane recovery, and new construction projects with fluctuating manpower.

- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit using tools such as a hacksaw, pipe threader, rules and conduit benders.- Pull wiring through conduit.- Pull wiring into cable tray - Splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads with knife or pliers, twisting or soldering wires together and applying tape or terminal caps.- Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment using hand tools.- Install control and distribution apparatus, such as switches, relays and circuit- breaker panels, and fastens in place with crews or bolts using hand or power tools. - Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads.- Test continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as ohmmeter, battery and buzzer and oscilloscope.- Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, or replacement. - Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems. - Load, transport and unload material, tools, equipment and supplies.- Maintain tools and equipment.- Perform craft safety procedures such as LOTO, etc. - Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules.
