VOA journalists in Washington and around the world work 24/7 to provide independent news and analysis on key global issues, U.S government policies and cultural developments. I lead strategic coverage across four dozen newsrooms in dozens of languages, AI governance and integration and cross agency collaboration. Also responsible for technology governance and implementation in collaboration with external teams.

Worked to engage with key external stakeholders and address high profile stakeholder and public relations issues while keeping staff on track and focused on mission driven work.

Led day to day operation of VOA's English language news center and management team responsible for 140 plus journalists and hundreds of stringers who produced dozens of multi-platform pieces of content per day. Developed coordination and content distribution strategy to bring together reporting from more than four dozen in language newsrooms, as well as bureaus and reporting centers around the world. Implemented stricter performance management and budgetary accountability.
