I'm that guy you weren't planning to meet, but you're glad our paths crossed.As a professional change leader, I’m often asked to provider leadership to capitalize on an opportunity, or to navigate through a crisis—often two sides of the same coin. It’s not any particular industry expertise that should attract your attention to me. Instead, think of me as a catalyst for positive change and momentum. I work in the space where human dynamics, processes, data, and innovation intersect—none of which are of value without a Vision, trajectory, and strategic approach. That is why I specialize in assisting organizations to first understand and tell their own story of their future, such that they are energized by their own Vision—energized enough to make the tough decisions that may be necessary to pursue that Vision. And what, exactly, is a Vision? It’s a characterization of your organization’s future if you live up to your Mission. It’s also a puzzle that doesn’t come with a box-top picture. I will bring that Vision into focus with you. I will ask you the questions you haven’t asked, yet, or possibly that you’re not willing to ask (but need to). And I will help you answer those questions.I then blend Project Leadership skills with an empowering style as I coach the organization to undertake the initiatives and changes necessary to pursue its Vision, all the while building capacity among the people of that organization. It is my goal to foster morale, build new capacities, and boost collective hope and enthusiasm. Is there a title for what I do? Perhaps.
