Working with commercial and independent clients to develop creative digital strategy and content. Clients include NETFLIX, VOGUE, Adult Swim, NASA, Atlantic Records, VICE, Kidz Bop, LATINA magazine, Shark Tank, Mr. Beast, and independent musicians and comedians in NYC and beyond.

Responsible for all things film, graphic, and web at Short Stack - an accessible and collaborative music studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

As a PA on Nickelodeon's Creative Promotions team, I oversee the production of promotional spots for on-air, YouTube, and social media. My production duties include editing, copy writing, conceptual development, sourcing archival clips, and coordinating graphic, talent, and legal requests. I also contribute meme ideas/art direction/copy to the Nick Now task force - the entity behind Nick's social media presence.

Assisting show creators and Eko's user base in crafting interactive video experiences. These projects can range from user-generated content to highly produced and promoted Eko releases. Additional duties include creative and technical support for our online platform, website maintenance, project QA, copy writing for Eko documentation, and client-facing communication.

As one of the Head TAs for Brown's User Experience/User Interfaces class, I helped redefine the syllabus for the new year, organize design labs for various softwares used in class, and lead a group of 16 TAs in grading, holding office hours, and mentoring projects.

In an effort to promote cross-disciplinary collaboration between students, especially within the Art/Design and STEM fields, RISD and Brown established the first two university-sponsored STEAM clubs in America. Since its inception in 2013, Brown STEAM has worked closely with its RISD counterpart to expand the initiative to other colleges, as well as primary and secondary schools. With STEAM, I help organize and put on group events, keep STEAM's image and work in the eyes and ears of students across Providence, and plan workshops and installations with the recently unveiled computer-focused subgroup (of which I was a co-founder): C+STEAM.

I helped any and all students who visited the lab to complete projects and become comfortable using its machinery. Additionally, I led and organized workshops to bring new students and faculty to the space. Some of my tools included wood and metal machines, a laser cutter, soldering/breadboard equipment, and various 3D printers.

As an intern with the UX team at Castlight, I got to wear many (cool) hats. I did some speculative research for a potential implementation of AI tech that almost certainly won't be possible for another 1-2 years (and possibly never), conducted user research as part of the agile development pipeline, built prototypes and mock-ups to help product teams communicate with engineers (and vice versa), and even helped spice up the waiting experience by building loading GIFs for various parts of the site.

Personal responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Blog & social media upkeep, press outreach, physical and digital advertising throughout Providence and internationally for BWxD. I was also the conference's primary MC. Better World by Design puts on a yearly conference that attracts designers, social entrepreneurs, engineers, and other multi-disciplinary thinkers and do-ers for conversations surrounding the most pressing issues of our time. The goal is for attendees to leave with a heightened sense of certainty for ways they, personally, can impact the world. Get involved with the conference and community below --

One member of a team of three to realize Brown's long-sought goal of developing a startup accelerator within the university. Along with workspace/participant management, I also played the roles of graphic designer (including logo design), creator of official materials, presentation developer, A/V and tech guru, documentation lead (including blogging, photo, and video throughout the program and beyond), website manager, advisor and consultant to student participants, and student-staff liaison. Over eight weeks, the B-Lab provided workspace, funding, and mentorship for 17 teams of Brown and RISD students (at the undergraduate and graduate levels) developing start-up companies in a wide range of industries. After the success of the inaugural summer program, it is likely the B-Lab will become an institutionalized entity at Brown for years to come.
