A highly creative Marketing Executive with 25 years’ experience in the UK and International film distribution business releasing over 250 films. Twelve of those years as Managing Director, firstly running Pathé UK and currently Paramount Pictures UK. Managing multi-million-pound budgets, liaising with senior management teams, and achieving yearly gross box office takings in excess of £150m. Extensive experience in managing and motivating diverse teams. Vast experience of not only creating and managing stand out campaigns, but also working creatively on the films themselves directly with the film makers. BAFTA award winner - as Creative Director (2002) on Chris Nolan’s Memento DVD. Conceived and created the extra asset “The beginning of the end” which was a completely new cut which reversed the non-linear nature of the film. This was done hand in hand with Chris Nolan.Slumdog Millionaire (2009) - a part of the Pathé team that took Slumdog from script to onscreen worldwide hit. Also contributed to the film itself in post-production by writing the opening and closing Q&A.Blue Story - the question was posed, would a younger demographic that consumes short-form content for free online ever follow Rapman with his first feature film from YouTube to cinemas. Working directly with Rapman on the film itself and leading the team in creating an original standout campaign, the answer was a resounding yes.
