Essential Job Dutiesa) Collaborate with other public and private agencies to assure local public health department response is coordinated with local emergency management activities.b) Develop departmental protocols to assure a coordinated agency response for public health emergencies.Knowledge and Skillsa) Knowledge of group facilitation processes and ability to effectively serve as a facilitator, exercise controller or training and exercise evaluator in a variety of venues and settings. b) Knowledge of NIMS, ICS, and HSEEP.c) Ability to use Information Technology Software, including, but not limited to the following:i) Excel ii) Wordiii) PowerPoint iv) Outlook v) SharePointvi) Graphics//basic statistical abilities vii) Texting//group paging viii) Teleconferencing ix) Website development and maintenance d) Ability to effectively present information in one on one, small and large group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the county.e) Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
