The Global Corporate & Investment Banking Department of BofAML provides key advisory and relationship management expertise to large local corporates, FIs and MNC clients. Key responsibilities as part of the MNC corporate banking division include developing and growing existing client relationships, coordinating and directing sales efforts across the banks suite of products (including credit, treasury, trade and FX), supporting regional and local sales teams in Southeast Asia and broader APAC, and providing supporting role to senior RMs in the form of profitability and sales effectiveness analyses and initiatives.

The Corporate Tax Advisory Department provides tax advisory and compliance services to various national and international corporations. Major involvements included tax structuring advice for new companies, due diligence for M&A/IPO deals in the corporate and REIT sector, feasibility studies for corporate restructuring and tax planning, and working closely with renowned tax consultants and large government clients.

A Community Advisor (CA) partners with a professional Housefellow to provide overall leadership for the vision, direction and daily activity within one of the fifteen residential house communities on campus. The CA is responsible for developing a strong sense of community among house residents, facilitating resident involvement in the life of the house, and fostering an environment in the house which enhances the personal and academic success of all who live there. Toward this end, the CA provides leadership to a team of Resident Assistants who provide resources and support to all residents while maintaining community standards and offering individual and group opportunities for personal growth.

Resident Assistants (RAs) are key student leaders who help advance the vision and mission of the Division of Student Affairs in the areas of artistic and intellectual curiosity, personal well being, professional competency, leadership development, and engagement in and contribution to the larger community. RAs must have a commitment to the enhancement of the quality of residential life at Carnegie Mellon and a strong belief in the potential the residential experience has to affect students and to complement their academic experience.

The corporate tax advisory department in KPMG Services, Singapore provides tax advisory and compliance services to various national and international corporations. Major contributions included visiting clients during engagements and providing feedback on company structures, establishment of checklist and procedures to help new corporations in Singapore, and assisted firm Partners in drafting engagement letters and job scopes for potential clients. Participated in KPMG's Corporate Social Responsibility program.

Assisted in the Corporate Banking division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch in providing research and background information on potential investment opportunities in financial institutions in the South East Asia region. Major project included the creation of presentation decks for the collation of international revenues and contacts for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, as well as potential growth opportunities and trends in the international arena.

The Company Executive Officer's (CXO's) core job scope included handling administrative matters for the whole Company, monitoring the results of tests and courses, drafting the monthly training programs and overseeing transport, rations and equipment indents. Further, the CXO is directly in charge of personnel in the Company HQ (and unofficially, the Battalion Signal Platoon) and is responsible for their welfare and training. More specific involvements include the conducting of numerous Individual Physical Proficiency Tests (IPPT), Standard Obstacle Course (SOC) tests and live firing ranges, as well as organizing the Battalion Fmily Day 2009 event and the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) Internship Program.
