John wanted to make sure he understood exactly where we were coming from before proceeding to educate us on the nuances of Alabama DOT, their data, and the way they do things in general. He was always polite, always soft spoken, but always direct. John turned out to be a great ally for the implementation team while remaining a strong advocate for his team and his organization. He is capable of sweating the details without ever losing sight of the big picture. He is great to work with because he is an exception teacher while taking on the role of a student."
