Supervises a team of 12 or more management employees and 18 union technicians that are responsible for the development and/or delivery of IT-related work relative to Application/Production Support, Quality Assurance, Technical Vendor Management, Data Analysis, System Administration, Storage Administration, IT Network Design, Asset Management, Data Center Management, Service Continuity, and Technology Security. Responsible for supporting all datacenter infrastructure 24X7, and responsive to all problem situations. Provide guidance and ensure adherence to ATT and ITO policies and procedures in the Data Center. Analyzes resources capacities and consumption, recommending solutions to reduce risk and stewardship of short-term capacity needs. Responsible for the operation of 1 Mobility Data Center, 1 Enterprise Data Center, 13 Video Data Centers, and 15 Cloud Sites in the eastern region of the United States, which make up 165,150 square feet of equipment space. My team has the responsibility of the UPS systems, which are about 30 across the region; these range from Vertiv NXL1100, NXL 500, Schneider Symmetra PX, etc. Extensive background in fiber, ethernet, and the quality of the installations to servers, routers, and switches. Years of hands-on experience with data center equipment ranging from servers, router, and switches along with the testing of components and fiber/ethernet. Responsible for maintenance/expense budget of $2.3 Million and shared responsibility of a Capital budget of $39 Million.

Plans, schedules and coordinates the installation, rearrangement, and de-installation of computer hardware or application software supporting enterprise-wide strategic business processes. Coordinates with project management, systems software and application personnel, change managers, platform specialist personnel in the execution of hardware or application software activities and resolution of system and performance problems. Responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing critical data center infrastructure services or applications, in support of continuous facility or application availability. Coordinate projects for ensuring the application is documented and is capable of being monitored by the Control Centers. Also, responsible for supporting all production hardware or application software in the data centers 7X24, and responsive to all problems situations. Involved in vendor/contractor management in the Data Center. Responsible for data center physical security, disaster recovery procedures, and facility support activities in support of the ongoing operations of the facility.
