Advertising Sales Executive

- Attends conferences and events with heavy prospect attendance to promote the organization and advertisement opportunities (print, digital, video, etc)- Develops annual sales plan in conjunction with the Director, which details activities to follow during the fiscal year, to meet or exceed sales quota- Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face and cold calling business owners, email, and networking- Maintains accurate records of sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within assigned territory- Sells advertising in The Military Engineer magazine, TME Online, Real TiME newsletter, SAME website, and other SAME communication platforms- Creates and executes advertising contracts for all advertising sales- Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and members about the various products and services SAME offers to meet their business goals- Tracks all sales and presents regular reports to the Director- Evaluates and recommends new revenue opportunities- Collaborates with the editorial team to ensure that advertisements are appropriately placed and sized according to contractual agreements- Works as needed with the Expo team on exhibitor accounts and sponsorship sales
